[Download] MIUI V11.0.6.0 Global Stable for Mi 6

Xiaomi released an update for Mi 6 on 23 March 2020 with version number V11.0.6.0.PCAMIXM. The update does not bring any significant new but just some minor fixes. You can download Recovery file for the update from this post if you want to flash it manually.

This update from Xiaomi actually comes as a surprise, as it appeared like Mi 6 was abandoned by Xiaomi. It received its MIUI 11 update last year, but without Android 10, and it seems like MI 6 will remain without Android 10. However, if you want Android 10, flashing a Custom ROM will bring you AOSP Android.

Talking about Mi 6, it was released back in 2017 with Snapdragon 835, the flagship chipset of its time. It was built like a premium smartphone and was overall a good package for its price tag.

MIUI V11.0.6.0.PCAMIXM: Recovery ROM (Global)

To Install the Package, follow this process:

Step 1: Unlock the Recovery options to manually install the Update. Open the Updater app and tap on MIUI logo 7-8 times.

Step 2: Download the OTA package given above, and Place it in /downloaded_rom folder of Internal Storage of your Device

Step 3: Launch the Updater app and Click on three dots on the right corner, click on “Choose Update Package”

Step 4: Select the file which you placed in /downloaded_rom. The installation will begin and the device will automatically boot into new MIUI.

Note: If your Mi 6 has a Custom Recovery like TWRP, then you can flash Recovery package from above by using TWRP.
