Hi Shubhnish, i am failed to get rooted my redmi note 5 with the above mention process. I’m using
twrp-3.3.1-0-rosy.img and also twrp-3.2.1-0-vince.img. but failed to get the files in install. and even didn’t show the device on my PC even after the boot. as i’m using the windows 7. Will you help me in this regard.
Hi Akhil,
First of all, Use the Recovery only for Vince, flashing other devices recovery can brick your device. twrp-3.3.1-0-rosy.img is for Redmi 5 and twrp-3.2.1-0-vince.img is for Redmi 5 Plus (Redmi Note 5 in India).
Second, Make sure that your device is decrypted after you flash the recovery, you can decrypt by using “Format Data” option in the Wipe section.
when i flash twrp vince my device is stuck at the logo
thank you it worked
